AZ Pro 18U outdone by Keith and Team Maryland, 5-4

Team Maryland beat AZ Pro 18U 5-4 in seven innings on Sunday at Camelback Ranch-Dodgers and White Sox Spring Training, SOX3 behind Bradley Keith, who went 2-2.

He singled in the second and sixth innings.
JD Caulkins put together a nice outing. AZ Pro 18U managed just one hit off of Caulkins, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out five during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Team Maryland couldn’t get anything going so long as Jeff Meinke was on the hill. Meinke held Team Maryland hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.

Ryan Selmer got the win for Team Maryland. He allowed one run over two innings. Selmer struck out one, walked none and gave up no hits.

Team Maryland was able to get the win despite Seth Schubert having a rough day on the hill. Schubert was replaced after just 1 1/3 innings. Schubert gave up two hits and three runs.
