Boyles gives Southern California Bombers 2013 Black late push to beat Team Maryland, 2-1

Ty Boyles drove in the winning run to give Southern California Bombers 2013 Black the lead in the seventh inning, as Southern California Bombers 2013 Black hung on to beat Team Maryland 2-1 on Monday.

Jake Thomas hit into a fielder’s choice to start the seventh. He then went from first to second on a stolen base. Finally, Boyles came to the plate with the score tied at one in the seventh inning, and tripled, bringing home Thomas.
Alec Smith was hot from the plate for Southern California Bombers 2013 Black. Smith went 2-2 and drove in one. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Thomas Wright handled Team Maryland’s lineup with ease, racking up five strikeouts. Wright allowed no earned runs, four hits and one walk over four innings.

Davey Seveniker got the win in relief for Southern California Bombers 2013 Black. Seveniker pitched two innings and allowed no runs.

Team Maryland scored its only run of the game on an RBI single by Nicolas Fisher in the fourth inning.
