Crab University Defeats The MVP Baseball Dodgers (CA) After Late Game Double, 8-4

Crab University outlasted the MVP Baseball Dodgers on Sunday after five lead changes, squeaking out a 8-4 win at Peoria Sports Complex MARINERS4.

Crab University finally managed to grab the lead after a strong third inning. Crab University scored on a two-run double by Tim Hannible off Cameron Ching, scoring Langston Cross and Jack Bulger.

Hannible racked up three RBIs on three hits for Crab University.

Cross had an impressive outing against the MVP Baseball Dodgers’ lineup. Cross held the MVP Baseball Dodgers hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out one.

The MVP Baseball Dodgers’ poor play in the field contributed to the loss. The MVP Baseball Dodgers gave up two unearned runs while committing three errors over the course of the game.

The bottom of the first saw Crab University take an early lead, 1-0. Crab University caught fire after Hannible singled. Then Logan Perry singled, bringing home Hannible.

Crab University never surrendered the lead after the third inning. The runs piled on thanks to an error.

rab University added two more runs in the bottom of the sixth. Maceo Campbell started the inning with a double, plating Connor Murtaugh.
