Maceo Campbell’s effort not enough to carry All Americans past No Fear (CA), 4-2

Maceo Campbell did his best to change the outcome, but Campbell couldn’t will All Americans past No Fear as All Americans lost 4-2 in seven innings at Camelback Ranch-Dodgers and White Sox Spring Training on Sunday.

Campbell baffled No Fear , striking out six batters. Campbell allowed two earned runs, three hits and two walks over four innings.

Lyons recorded the win for No Fear . He allowed two runs over seven innings. He struck out eight, walked four and surrendered six hits.

Campbell was the game’s losing pitcher.

The game was scoreless until All Americans broke the ice with one run in the fourth. All Americans scored runs on an RBI single by Austin Chavis.

No Fear didn’t relinquish the lead after scoring two runs in the fourth inning when it scored on a two-run double by Faagata.

No Fear added two more runs in the bottom of the fifth. Curtinas’ single got things going, plating Williams. That was followed up with a steal of home by Whllenber.

A one-run seventh inning helped bring All Americans within two. An RBI single by Jordan Art triggered All Americans’ comeback.
