No-hitter leads CrabFest All Americans past On Deck Baseball Academy 5-0

Jack Alkire was great on Friday, throwing a no-hitter in CrabFest All Americans’ 5-0 victory over On Deck Baseball Academy.

No On Deck Baseball Academy batter was able to locate Alkire’s pitches during the game. Alkire threw a no-hitter, striking out 16 batters and walking none while recording his momentous feat. He got Thomas Bowers to strike out for the final out of the game.

Kevin Heiss got on base three times in the game for CrabFest All Americans. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the third and sixth innings.

Tyler Baca was a workhorse on the rubber for On Deck Baseball Academy. Baca allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks while striking out eight over six innings of work.

Baca was the game’s losing pitcher.

CrabFest All Americans went up for good in the third, scoring one run on an RBI single by Heiss.
