Team Maryland uses big fifth inning to beat the AZ Angels Black, 7-0

Team Maryland beat the AZ Angels Black 7-0 in seven innings on Saturday at Camelback Ranch-Dodgers and White Sox Spring Training, LAD4 after a four-run explosion in the fifth inning.

Carl Colbert got a hit in each of his two at bats. He singled in the first and fifth innings.

David Hesslink had an impressive outing against the AZ Angels Black’s lineup. Hesslink gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out five during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Bradley Keith, Gregory Hauck and Colbert helped lead Team Maryland. They combined for six hits and two RBIs.
