Youth All American Games Information is Released

The CFAA Youth Games are Saturday August 20, 2016. If you haven’t registered yet please do so ASAP at
We will be closing registration by the end of the week.
You will be evaluated in our CFAA games in correlation with the May 1, 2016 age cutoff date. Our policy is to evaluate our players as their true baseball age for the past season. Not for the fall season. If you are selected from the CrabFest All American Games you will be placed on our roster to play in Disney’s New Year’s Classic at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. You will be placed on the appropriate age you are eligible to play in compliance with the age cutoff of May 1, 2017.
For example:
  • If you were a 10U birthdate for the 2016 spring/summer you will play in our August 20th CFAA Games at 10U and if selected from those games you will be placed on our 11U Roster to represent CrabFest All Americans this December in Disney.
  • If you were 11U you will play in our 11U CFAA Games and when selected will be placed on our 12U Roster for our CFAA Disney Team.
  • If you were a 12U DOB for 2016 then you will play in the 12U games and when selected you’ll be placed on our 13U Roster for the Disney New Year’s Classic.
It is our policy to evaluate our youth prospects at their proper DOB for the season they just completed to be fair and just in our evaluation/selection process.
Now for the CrabFest All American Games Selection Process.
You will go through a “pro-style” combine/Showcase where you will be measured in the following:
  • 30 yard dash
  • Home to first (out of the box)
  • Exit velocity (bat speed)
  • Arm strength from primary position
  • Velocity/Control for Pitchers
  • Pop Time for catchers
  • Fielding & throwing tools will be evaluated too
Please arrive promptly as listed below, to sign in and get your jersey before your game time so we can get through the Showcase and start your games on time.
We will provide wood bats in the dugout. If you like them you can special order them to your specs and personalized with your name engraved on them. The game is a “WOOD BAT” game
Please wear white baseball pants and your current team’s hat.
These Games and Showcase serve as our selection process. You must play in these games to be eligible for our Disney Teams. You will be evaluated by HS Coaches.
